We use Paypal to process all transactions on this website. The Paypal payment system uses a combination of both established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Furthermore, their public web servers are certified ensuring that both the client and firm can have confidence that nobody can impersonate Paypal to obtain confidential information.

Transaction Encryption

The transfer of the purchase details from our website to PayPal is encapsulated using their own encrypted and digitally-signed protocol. This uses a combination of standard methods such as PGP, RSA and MD5 to ensure that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof.

Security for the Shopper

Any communication between the client and Paypal is also encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the client's browser using TLS or 128 BitSSL. Clients are also protected from fraudulent use of their card in a "card not present" environment, by their card issuers. The card issuers provide the right for the cardholder to dispute a transaction if the card was used fraudulently.

Data Storage

Data storage on Paypal systems and the communication between PayPal and the worldwide banking networks is regularly audited by the banking authorities to ensure a secure transaction environment. Paypal also ensures that they stay up-to-date with the latest versions of any third-party code they use, and continually review their own proprietary code.


To be able to process and record your order details, we retain certain information in our systems. We record your name, address, e-mail address and order details. This information is held on a secure database. We may use this information to let you know about future offers from our garden centre. All the data you supply is handled and managed in accordance with the Data Protection legislation, as you may expect from us.

Our website makes use of 'cookies'. We use them to record the details of the items as you add them to your basket. Once you select & start ordering products, the details are passed to the secure server for processing. The Help information for your browser will explain how you can control the use of cookies. However, for our website to function correctly the cookie facility must be enabled.

When someone visits our website or webshop we collect standard internet information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way which does not identify you. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

We take the security of the information you provide very seriously and we will store your information on a secured server. However, on the rare occasion, something happens we don’t accept any responsibility. You also need to take care of normal security measures on your own computer or internet device.

How does Click & Collect work?

Just add your chosen products to your basket then proceed to the checkout. You will be asked for your address details and contact information.

When will my order be ready for collection?

Most orders are available for next day collection, however, this may not be possible if a product/s are out of stock. We will notify you by email or telephone when your product/s are ready and keep them safely at the centre for seven working days.

If you are unable to collect them in this time frame, please contact us as soon as possible.

How do I collect my order?

Print out the email notification or make a note of your order reference number and take it to the tills in our garden centre

If you are not satisfied with the standard or quality of any of the product/s in your order when you arrive, you are under no obligation to buy them.

What happens if I have a problem?

Please contact us with any enquiries regarding your order as soon as possible.

When do I get a refund?

If you are not completely satisfied with any purchase we will happily arrange an exchange or a refund, providing you return it in a sellable condition within 28 days together with your original receipt.

We will ask to see Proof of Identity (e.g. Driving License) to process a cash refund. If the purchase was made by a credit or debit card, your refund will be credited to the original payment card used within 5-7 working days of processing the refund.

Sale items, bespoke items and customer special order items do not qualify for a refund or exchange.

Until when can I request a refund?

We are unable to refund or exchange any items beyond 28 days from original purchase.

Can I return shrubs and plants?

Perishable goods such as shrubs or plants are excluded from cancellation under The Consumer Protection (distance selling) regulations 2000 as amended by S1689, 2005.
