Sussex Countryside Award Winner 2011
At the Sussex Countryside Trusts awards ceremony held at Petworth House, Rushfields farm shop was awarded first place in the field to table category for providing local people with local produce.
When it comes to local produce you are spoilt for choice at Rushfields Farm shop, we have a fantastic selection of local meat, beef & lamb from Grange farm Poynings and Pork from Richard & Aimee Scott at Cootham, all of our sausages are made by our butcher, who is on hand to give advise about any cut of meat.
Local Beer and Wine
To wash all of that lovely local produce down Rushfields farm shop has beer from three local breweries, Harveys of Lewes, Hepworths and Kings from Horsham as well as wine from two local vineyards.
Bolney wine estates produce a superb range of Red, White & rose wines as well as a sparkling wine aptly named Bolney Bubbly
Plumpton College is the only college in the U.K. that offers foundation degrees in wine production; they produce Red, White and Rosé wines under the brand name of Cloudy Ridge as well as Sparkling Wine.
